BankNewport To Open Branch In Narragansett
NEWPORT, R.I. (January 2, 2008) – BankNewport today announced its intention to open a new branch in Narragansett, Rhode Island at 90 Point Judith Road, on the site of the former Casa Rossi restaurant. It will be the Bank’s first retail banking office in Narragansett and its twelfth banking office overall. The branch is scheduled to open in the late spring of 2008.

NEWPORT, R.I. (January 30, 2007) - BankNewport Chief Operating Officer, Sandra J. Pattie recently presented hundreds of art supplies donated by the community to the executive director of the Women’s Resource Center of Newport and Bristol Counties (WRC), Lori N. DiPersio and WRC Board Member, Arthur Chapman in support of the organization’s “Kids Art Therapy Program.” The collection drive, held in all BankNewport branches during the month of December 2006 through January 6, 2007, invited the community to donate art supplies – such as markers, glue sticks, modelling clay, crayons, chalk, and colored pencils. All of the items were requested by the counselors and youth participating in the “Kids Art Therapy Program.”
