BankNewport's Business Checking** Account offers you an earnings credit which may reduce, offset or eliminate monthly activity fees, based on the average daily investable balance in the account. This account is ideal for the business that has a moderate to high number of monthly transactions. This account also offers a free VISA® Business Debit Card.

You will receive a monthly statement along with an activity report letting you know your activity fees and earnings credit for the previous month’s account activity.

Business Edge Checking

This account is ideal for the business customer that is able to maintain an account with 300 transactions per month. It offers the option of no minimum balance requirements and no monthly maintenance fee, if you use our FREE Online Banking service, "Focus Online!" If you are already a Focus Online customer, your minimum balance requirements and your monthly maintenance fee will automatically be waived.

Business Performance Checking

Designed exclusively for Sole Proprietorships, this account is an interest bearing account that offers a free VISA® Business Debit Card

This account is ideal for Sole Proprietorships that have a moderate to high number if monthly transactions. Receive an itemized monthly statement as well as a mid-month activity statement indicating your accumulated fees and earnings credit to date.

Business Performance Checking** offers you an earnings credit which may reduce, offset or eliminate monthly activity fees, based on the average daily investable balance in the account.

*Inactive Focus Online Banking accounts will be closed and the minimum balance requirements and monthly maintenance fee will not be automatically waived. To prevent this please Sign-On to your account(s) regularly. If you choose not to sign up for Focus Online Banking, you only have to maintain the low minimum balance of $1,000 in this account to avoid a $10 monthly maintenance fee. Over 300 transactions per cycle are assessed a $.50 per transaction fee.

** Basic monthly fees are as follows: $10 maintenance fee, $.20 per check paid, $.75 per deposit, $.08 per deposited item, $.20 per ATM or POS transaction.
