BankNewport To Open Branch In Narragansett

NEWPORT, R.I. (January 2, 2008) – BankNewport today announced its intention to open a new branch in Narragansett, Rhode Island at 90 Point Judith Road, on the site of the former Casa Rossi restaurant. It will be the Bank’s first retail banking office in Narragansett and its twelfth banking office overall. The branch is scheduled to open in the late spring of 2008.

The 2,800 square foot branch will include a drive up banking lane and a drive up ATM. It will be a full service branch, designed to provide a comfortable atmosphere for customers to conduct their personal and business banking.

BankNewport is a member of the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce and the South County Chamber of Commerce, and has active representation in the Rotary Club of Wakefield and the South County YMCA.
