NEWPORT, R.I. (September 6, 2007) – BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of Traci Holmes to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Portsmouth office. She will be responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development.
With over 18 years experience in banking, Holmes comes to BankNewport from Citizens Bank where she served as branch manager of their Bristol and Belltower branch offices. She previously served as branch manager of their Portsmouth office.
Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science in business management and finance from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Portsmouth Business Association. Traci resides in Swansea, Massachusetts.
