BankNewport Names Vice President

F. Michael DeVito
|
NEWPORT, R.I. (August 8, 2007) – BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of F. Michael DeVito to vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Jamestown office. DeVito began his career at BankNewport in 1989 and has held various positions, most recently serving as assistant vice president and manager at the same branch location. He is responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development.
DeVito earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Boston College in Massachusetts. He holds a Rhode Island Insurance Producers License and is a Registered ParaplannerSM.
DeVito is a member of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce and the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Michael, his wife Elizabeth and their two daughters make their home in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
