BankNewport Names Senior Vice President

David M. Murray

NEWPORT, R.I. (May 13, 2008) - BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of David M. Murray to senior vice president, marketing director. Murray joined BankNewport in 1998 and most recently served as vice president, marketing director. He will be responsible for leading the Bank’s marketing department, advertising agency and public relations firm to develop and implement effective communications, both internally and externally.
David is the author of three children’s books and, as an ambassador for BankNewport, visits classrooms in schools throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts presenting his program “Growing Up Creative – Coloring Outside The Lines.” David and his wife Judy reside in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
